The 1000 Mile Fusion Walking Sock breaks the mould with its innovative design and material technology.
This sock is the first of it’s kind that offers not just the 1000 Mile double layer sock’s BLISTER-FREE GUARANTEE but padded comfort zones on the heel, toe and Achilles tendon.
The padding combined with the high volume Merino wool gives warmth and volume perfect for Autumn/Winter right through until Spring.
Mid-calf length for wear with high ankle walking footwear. Just what you need when you’re in the thick of it.
A medium weight mid calf double layer sock that we find works well on people who are prone to their boots rubbing causing blisters.
This sock has the same Tactel liner part as the 1000 Mile Liner Sock but a thicker denser outer layer. This improves the cushioning and fills the boot better so your foot is less likely to slip around inside the boot. If there is any movement the outer sock will rub against the inner sock rather than your skin which really does make a difference.
The Fusion Sock has good grip across your arch which holds it in place nicely and extra cushioning under your heel and ball of the foot for extra comfort. The Tactel Liner wicks very efficiently keeping your skin drier too which makes a massive difference in preventing blisters.
It is important to wash these at 30 degrees as you will shrink the liner part if you boil them!
If you are on the cusp of sizes then go for the smaller size unless you have a very broad or high volume foot.
Size Medium = 6 – 8 ½ Large = 9 – 11 ½

SIZING: Choose the same size sock as your foot size. If you have a narrow fitting (D or less for men, B or less for women) or are on the border between sizes you should go down a size. The sock should be a snug fit with not wrinkles.

Cut barb with scissors to avoid damage to fabric. Pull on sock carefully to ensure the fitted heel and toe box sit on the foot correctly. Smooth out any wrinkles between the layers to ensure a snug, smooth fit.
CONTENT: Outer layer: 40% Merino Wool, 29% Nylon, 23% Polyester, 6% Cotton and 2% Lycra. Inner Layer: 100% Tactel®.
CARE: Machine wash at 30 degree, No tumble dry.
